About the Role

This job posting is for a full-time, on-campus position at Cornell University's Ithaca campus. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the Clery Compliance Director in coordinating regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance efforts are met under the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act).

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of laws and regulations related to Clery compliance and possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse groups. A bachelor's degree with a minimum 3 years of professionally related experience or an equivalent combination is required.

Responsibilities
  • Serving as a resource for all laws and regulations outlined in the Clery Act and other relevant laws.
  • Assisting with reviewing and developing campus-wide policies related to Clery compliance.
  • Developing and implementing action plans for university-wide compliance with Clery.
  • Maintaining Clery records and maps, ensuring accurate reporting and statistical analysis.
  • Liaising with law enforcement agencies and campus stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
