Job Description:

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in developing and implementing new banking solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

  • You'll work closely with our development teams, coworkers, and clients to identify product needs, new products, and strategies for deployment.
  • Determine product needs and gain approval by analyzing business requirements against current system functionality and industry standards.
  • Develop release documentation providing details on new functionality and system changes.
  • Assist with training department to determine training needs and documentation, and coordinate these events.
  • Interface with customer support for detailed support as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform User Acceptance Testing to ensure the product aligns with client requirements.
  • Build test environment within database by creating/maintaining/editing accounts and/or system / bank / product options.
  • Process transaction sets according to defined script and document findings.
  • Work with initial adopters of new product functionality at product launch.
  • Perform new product/service setup, determine parameters and client needs, and maintain expectations in line with functionality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, but relevant certifications or work experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of two years banking or financial services experience, preferably in a technical or operational capacity.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret banking periodicals, professional/technical journals, and technical procedures.
  • Technical aptitude to perform critical thinking and construct database queries.
  • Ability to grasp complex issues and determine appropriate resolution.
  • Understanding of relational database structures required.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills.
