Key Responsibilities:
GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking a COMSEC Custodian/Special Device Inventory Manager (OCONUS) to support our military clientele. This role necessitates an active Secret government clearance and involves deployment to an OCONUS location.

The COMSEC Custodian/Special Device Inventory Manager is responsible for the receipt, temporary storage, and transfer of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) provided special access control devices, COMSEC equipment, and related materials. This includes training personnel in the proper custodianship and operation of these devices and conducting regular inventories and inspections.

Routine Duties Include:

  • Managing the inventory database, including receipt and updates upon arrival of special access control devices and COMSEC equipment.
  • Safeguarding and distributing COMSEC materials to designated work locations.
  • Addressing equipment obsolescence and facilitating repairs or disposals as necessary.
  • Providing installation support and troubleshooting for systems and devices.
  • Compiling and submitting inventory reports to relevant U.S. agencies.
  • Updating inventory status during Command Control Interoperability Board (CCIB) and Communications Working Group (CIWG) meetings.
  • Submitting reports regarding transfers, destruction, and possession to appropriate U.S. government offices.
  • Acting as a liaison between host countries and controlling authorities, including various U.S. military commands and agencies.
  • Coordinating with the Office of Defense Cooperation for necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Offering subject matter expertise for technical investigations related to COMSEC issues.
  • Participating in relevant training and conferences to stay informed on policies and equipment.
  • Providing training and technical support to host country personnel regarding the custodianship and operation of COMSEC materials.
  • Maintaining awareness of new requirements or modifications from U.S. government agencies.
  • Developing a Distribution Plan to ensure control of keying materials.
  • Ensuring compliance with U.S. DoD policies and security procedures.
  • Coordinating facility and security management with relevant authorities.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant COMSEC support or industrial security experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with the potential to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
  • Familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other DoD security guidelines.
  • Ability to implement and manage industrial security processes and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills to maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Navy Radio systems and integration of Crypto systems.
  • Familiarity with audio system cable building and Navy C school electronics training.
  • Experience in conducting security incident investigations and developing reports.
