Job Description
A Competitive Salary Range:$280,000 - $450,000 per annum. Our comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, health insurance, and a pension plan.

The position is located at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration in Dallas, Texas. The job involves providing direct patient care in outpatient specialty clinics, inpatient care, and shared on-call coverage. We are looking for a Board Certified Neurologist with extensive knowledge of neurology, including multiple sclerosis and clinical neuroimmunology. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system. Additionally, you will be responsible for ordering tests to evaluate results and provide proper care to our patients. If needed, you may be reassigned within the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm or 8:00am- 4:30pm; Includes Rotating On-Call; Some telework may be available.

To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements listed in the job announcement. Currently employed physician(s) in VA who met the requirements for appointment under the previous qualification standard at the time of their initial appointment are deemed to have met the basic requirements of the occupation. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship, Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine, Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
