Position Summary:
The Plant Engineer is responsible for devising and executing comprehensive technical strategies within the plant, focusing on engineering initiatives, maintenance, and reliability enhancements. This role includes leading efforts to implement efficient production systems and providing innovative solutions to technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Champion safety initiatives to ensure a World Class Safety environment for all employees.
2. Drive Food Safety and Quality standards to achieve Zero Foreign Material goals.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute the capital plan, engaging various plant and corporate functions.
4. Establish clear roles and responsibilities within the plant to enhance accountability.
5. Promote a team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
6. Educate key stakeholders on business concepts to enhance operational literacy.
7. Leverage technical resources to support engineering projects and initiatives.
8. Assist in achieving key performance indicators and financial targets.
9. Conduct internal audits and provide leadership in strategic planning for the plant.
10. Participate in and lead project teams aimed at improving safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
- Minimum of five years of experience in food manufacturing, with three years in a training capacity preferred.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, along with proficiency in computer applications.
