Kemira, a leading provider of sustainable chemistry solutions for water-intensive industries, is seeking a skilled Product Compliance Specialist to join its dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for Kemira's products. This involves managing product stewardship programs, maintaining regulatory documentation, and liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure our products meet all necessary requirements.

As a key member of the Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of product stewardship programs to minimize environmental impact and ensure product safety.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all products comply with local, national, and international regulations;
  • Maintaining and updating regulatory documentation, including safety data sheets (SDS), labels, and technical files;
  • Developing and implementing product stewardship programs to minimize environmental impact and ensure product safety;
  • Acting as the primary contact with regulatory agencies and industry groups;
  • Conducting risk assessments and providing guidance on regulatory requirements for new and existing products;
  • Providing training and support to internal teams on regulatory and product stewardship matters;
  • Staying updated on changes in regulations and standards, and communicating these changes to relevant stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs or product stewardship;
  • Knowledge of chemical regulations in the Americas region, especially U.S. GHS, EPA, TSCA, FIFRA, California's
