Job Overview

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a highly skilled Senior Voice Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of Voice and Video systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Voice and Video systems, ensuring adherence to requirements and documenting test results.
  • Resolve tickets and problem reports on specific technologies and hardware/software components, including COTS/GOTS products.
  • Recommend new technologies and processes for complex systems, and coordinate system installations and monitor equipment functioning.
  • Identify system requirements for operations and security, and work with other engineers and staff to develop design and integrate components.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Security + CE certification, with CCNP Collaboration a plus.
  • Twelve years' experience as an IT Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, with at least one year within the Federal Government.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Expert knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Systems, real-time Voice and Video Network and Security services, routed and routing protocols, and multi-layer Ethernet switching technologies.
  • Experience with the installation/maintenance of Cisco VoIP and VTC systems and services.
