Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to join our team at iProvide Home Care Solutions, LLC. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care, grooming, and dressing
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Enhance the safety and hygiene of the client and their environment
  • Practice infection control measures to prevent the spread of illness
  • Plan and prepare meals according to nutritional needs
  • Transport clients to and from medical and social appointments
  • Document services provided and maintain accurate records
  • Remind clients to take medication and offer minimal assistance as needed
  • Observe and document any changes in the client's condition
  • Comply with agency policies and procedures
Requirements
  • One year of full-time experience in caregiving or home care within the past five years
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Willingness to undergo orientation training and at least 8 hours of on-job training annually
  • Ability to work in stressful environments and care for clients with diverse personalities
  • Computer literacy and ability to use electronic documentation systems
  • Understanding of the physical, psychological, and developmental needs of clients
  • Ability to respect clients and their property
