At Par Pacific, we are seeking an experienced Master Welder and Pipefitter to join our team in the Western United States. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and expanding our energy infrastructure.

About the Job

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from $32.90 to $42.88 per hour, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing welding and pipefitting tasks to maintain and repair our energy infrastructure
  • Reading and understanding technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of piping components and structural steel
  • Torquing bolts and blinding to ensure safe and secure connections
  • Learning rigging techniques to safely move and place equipment

You will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes:

  • Maintaining housekeeping of the shop and work area
  • Participating in work and safety audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Minimum two years of trade school or equivalent experience
  • Five years of experience as a welder, pipefitter, mechanical, or boilermaker (preferable)
  • A valid U.S. Driver's License with an acceptable Driver's Abstract
  • High School diploma or GED required
