About the Opportunity

Rutgers University is seeking a skilled Surgical Pathologist to join our team in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. As a faculty member, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality surgical pathology and cytopathology laboratory services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to provide accurate and timely diagnostic results
  • Participate in educational programs for medical students, residents, and clinical fellows
  • Engage in productive research activities
  • Contribute to subspecialty expertise in areas such as pediatric pathology, bone and soft tissue pathology, breast pathology, thoracic pathology, gynecologic pathology, etc.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • An active medical license in the State of New Jersey
  • Fellowship training in surgical pathology and/or cytopathology
  • Board certification or board eligibility in AP/CP or AP and cytopathology
