Job Title: Customer Service Representative

At SBM Management Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and colleagues
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, including floor care, surface care, and waste removal
  • Assist with light maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets
  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
  • Take direction and respond to supervision
  • Use proper personal protective equipment
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understand reporting systems and the environment
  • Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables, straighten areas, pick up trash, recycling, and compost bins, and transport to proper disposal areas
  • Assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms, damp mop floors, restroom cleaning, glass cleaning, restock and organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas, clean elevators, spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets, and dust open common spaces
Qualifications:
  • Custodial experience required
  • Passing a drug test will be required
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screening test
  • Cleaning experience preferred
  • Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
  • Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
  • Know how to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • Know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons, etc.
  • Required to have a valid driver's license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, will also require you have proof of vehicle registration and insurance
  • Bilingual preferred, not required
Compensation:

$12.50 per hour

Shifts:

6:00AM - 2:00PM
