Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs all patient exams, orders additional materials as needed, and shares a call schedule with other technologists. They also perform quality tests on all equipment to ensure its integrity.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program and excellent customer service skills. A Certified Technologist-Nuclear Medicine certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health Services-Radiologic Health Branch is required, with NMTCB or ARRT-NM certification preferred. BLS certification is also required.

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will ensure patient well-being and care while in the Radiology Department. They will be expected to perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient exams and order additional materials as needed
  • Share a call schedule with other technologists
  • Perform quality tests on all equipment
  • Ensure patient well-being and care

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Certified Technologist-Nuclear Medicine certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health Services-Radiologic Health Branch
  • NMTCB or ARRT-NM certification preferred
  • BLS certification

Pay Range: $52.00
