Job Details

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction duties, performing basic trade activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

**Responsibilities:**

* Oversee and manage the training of recently hired laborers
* Coordinate personnel and delegate duties
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of safety policies and ensure compliance
* Ensure that the crew follows all company policies and procedures
* Maintain records and logs of work performed and materials and equipment used
* Meet with and update clients regularly
* Communicate with project managers and clients to ensure timely project completion
* Ensure budget constraints are followed
* Understand pump controls and piping configurations
* Understand SCADA systems
* Perform various inspections
* Perform various maintenance tasks
* Understand basic electrical safety requirements
* Understand landfill drawings and layouts
* Provide training and guidance to other employees as necessary
* Understand and use testing, calibration, and monitoring equipment
* Understand how to use equipment used on site
* Inventory and request equipment and supplies as needed
* Comply with and enforce company policies and procedures
* Know and perform all operator duties, laborer duties, and foreman duties

**Qualifications:**

* High school diploma preferred
* Minimum 3 years supervising construction projects in a related field
* Proven track record as a successful foreman or superintendent
* Effective leadership and strong collaboration skills
* Strong history of customer/client focus
* Ability to make ethical decisions and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
* Project Management experience preferred within the Construction Industry
* Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
* Ability to travel up to 100%
* Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
* Physical requirements of continuous walking, lifting, and bending on project sites
