Job Summary:
As a Revenue Management Specialist at Geisinger Health System, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our revenue management processes. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and resolve various revenue enhancement and credit balance issues associated with professional and/or hospital accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform professional and/or hospital billing and collection functions within the revenue management department, including billing and collection functions, secondary collections, cash posting, A/R resolution, adjustments, credit balance resolution, and revenue enhancement.
  • Develop and implement quality initiatives to ensure continuous monitoring and improvements within the revenue management process.
  • Collaborate with other areas to ensure coordinated activities with respect to all revenue management needs.
  • Participate in the development of various strategic plans and provide analysis to supervisor and manager of trends and issues identified.

Requirements:

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) - (Required), Associate's Degree - (Preferred)

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years - Related work experience (Required)
