Aguajito Veterinary Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility providing best-in-class care for small animals and exotic family members. Our team offers wellness, preventative, and urgent care services, including surgical and dental procedures.

**We are seeking a part-time Veterinary Assistant to work 4 days a week (Sunday-Wednesday)**


Responsibilities include:

  • Admitting patients for procedures and exams
  • Animal restraint
  • Maintaining animal records and documenting conditions and updates
  • Venipuncture, including catheter placement
  • Administering medications (PO, SQ, IM, and IV)
  • Filling prescriptions
  • Completing laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging
  • Educating clients on veterinary medicine

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 2 years of experience performing the above duties
  • High School Diploma/GED

Available Schedule: part-time position, schedule will be Sunday-Wednesday

  • We are open 7 days a week, 8am - 5pm
