Job Summary

The National Accounts Manager will be responsible for driving growth and sales within the US-Pro Channel. This role will involve developing and deploying strategies to achieve projected growth attainment for National Accounts and buying groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve market share growth and drive execution of sales objectives throughout the US Regions & Territories for the Designated National Accounts.
  • Act as the CEO of their National accounts for a win-win relationship to grow faster than the market, by developing strong relationship with the assigned accounts, create a strategy and deploy it in the market with coordination with the CSM's and TM's, managing all communications to the customers and back to Broan-NuTone management including but not limited to; Annual Target, Conduct periodic business reviews internally and with the customers, work a proper forecast to have visibility of customers' needs and support in the field to win new business & avoid attrition.
  • Ensure effective new product launches including placement.
  • Develop strategy to implement profitability initiatives (i.e., price increases, shift mix, etc.) while achieving defined growth targets.
  • Align segment/product category strategies to customer strategies to deliver profitable growth.
  • Leverage data to improve sales and profitable results within the National Accounts and Buying Groups
  • Assists Pro Channel Sales Mgmt. & Broan-Nutone Marketing with setting and implementing sales strategies for National Accounts and buying groups that will assist in attaining Broan-NuTone sales plan objectives across all product segments.
  • Support their National Accounts with relationships with Builders, Contractors and Specifications companies utilizing in-person sales calls, lunch & learns, and remotely via Microsoft Teams/WebEx sales training and code enforcement compliance utilizing Broan-NuTone products.
  • Develops and implements National and Regional programs & marketing strategies to increase product penetration across all Broan-NuTone product categories. This involves establishing, managing, annual agreements to increase Broan-NuTone market share.
  • Manage and review all Co-Op marketing claims to achieve defined growth across all segments and to ensure accurate and consistent reporting and payouts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis in Business, Communications, Engineering or Marketing. A master's degree in a related field is desirable but not required.
  • 5 + years of previous National Account Experience in a Manufacturer Sales Organization
  • Residential Construction selling experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to coach, influence and develop customers - both direct and indirect.
  • A strong work ethic, hunter mentality, love of sales, and the drive to get out in the field and support existing business and/or pursue new business daily.
  • Highly motivated, disciplined, organized, detail oriented, demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent people skills; effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Relentless positive attitude and willingness to help.
  • Strong digital acumen (i.e., salesforce, excel, word, power-point, mapping software) that includes experience with Salesforce for project tracking and customer analysis is a plus.
  • Foster understanding of and adherence to sales processes and policies.
  • Intellectually curious with an understanding the goal is to make the business grow.
  • Have and maintain a valid USA/State issued driver's license.
