Job Overview

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at Verovian, you will play an integral part of a dynamic healthcare team, providing compassionate and expert care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Educating patients and their families about healthcare conditions and treatment options
  • Providing wound care and managing medical equipment
  • Participating in patient care planning and discharge planning
  • Administering vaccinations and immunizations
  • Performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results
  • Maintaining patient records and medical histories
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent credential such as a General Education Development (GED) certificate
  • A nursing education program approved by the Indiana Board of Nursing, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program
  • NCLEX-RN licensure and a valid RN license
  • A criminal background check
  • Ongoing continuing education courses to maintain licenses and stay current with developments in the field of nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Optional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
