Job Title: Medical Imaging Technologist - Advanced Patient Care

About the Role:

This is a full-time position responsible for performing nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) scans on patients while providing exceptional care and ensuring their well-being during exams. You will be working under the direction of radiologists to administer radiopharmaceuticals, detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes, and guide patients through the examination process.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT scans on patients, providing excellent care and attention to detail.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures for nuclear medicine and PET/CT scans.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of radiologists to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.
  • Guide patients through the exam process, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Monitor patients' well-being during exams, recognizing any discomfort or medical problems and taking appropriate action.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

Requirements:

  • ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification
  • State Nuclear Medicine License
  • Venipuncture certification/permit
  • BLS certification
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
