US Engine Valve is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Sandy Springs, SC.

 

Salary: $28.50/hour (estimated annual salary: $59,032/year)

 

About the Job:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure smooth operations at our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining machinery, equipment, and facilities to prevent downtime and optimize production efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots and repairs machine malfunctions and performs preventive maintenance tasks
  • Locates and repairs electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems
  • Completes projects as directed, including machine moves, modifications, installations, material handling, and remodeling work areas
  • Assists in training other maintenance personnel and production associates
  • Ensures job functions maintain or improve product quality
  • Performs preventative maintenance functions on equipment
  • Completes work orders satisfactorily and in a timely manner

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
  • Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred
  • Experience working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license
  • Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training
  • On-the-job or classroom training, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical
