Job Overview

BryceTech is seeking an experienced GFEBS consultant to support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Chemical Biological Center (CBC). The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of Funds Control Module (FCM) and comprehensive experience in teaching, training, and using GFEBS applications for specific business processes in the Army related to complex reimbursable operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track data, preparing and updating standard recurring and special reports from information obtained from various financial sources.
  • Establish a robust data analysis and reporting framework to track the impact and outcomes of the BRIC DTA initiative.
  • Provide technical assistance and analysis of funding actions based on interpretation of budgetary laws, policies, and regulations in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS), and Office of Personnel Management (OPM) requirements.
  • Establish a knowledge management system to organize and share best practices, case studies, and research findings from various BRIC DTA activities.
  • Provide fiscal year-end close and start up support during the months of August, September, and October.
  • Provide assistance and coordination of critical tasks to include but not limited to GFEBS Master Data Builds/updates, Funds Center Builds/updates, Internal Orders, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) rollover, WBS Element mass upload, Cost Center Builds/updates, Labor and Overhead tasks, Science and Technology (S&T) Task Build/updates, tracking and clearing critical UMTs and IDOCs, Sales Order Closeout and Rollover and Reimbursable Funded Program statuses.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of Federal Government reimbursable accounting experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in teaching, training, and using GFEBS.
  • Bachelors degrees in Finance.
