Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Development Intern to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in product development, working on cutting-edge projects that impact the future of transportation.

About the Role

This internship will provide you with the chance to contribute to market development, assist in quote generation processes, and gain practical experience in FEA analysis. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and develop your skills in technical writing, presentation, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to market development by analyzing data and generating reports
  • Support the quote generation process by conducting material utilization studies and providing outside quote inputs
  • Collaborate on FEA analysis for structural and metal forming applications
  • Participate in lab analysis of laser welded samples for engineering studies
  • Attend seminars, workshops, and exhibits to promote company products and services
Skill Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Mechanical or Metallurgy (or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering basics, including Strength of Materials and Structural Mechanics
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or equivalent software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn
