Fleet and Equipment Maintenance Specialist

All-Stat Portable is seeking a highly skilled Fleet and Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and logistical support of all vehicles, machinery, and equipment used by the organization.
Estimated Salary:$55,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repair:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles, machinery, and equipment according to schedules.
- Conduct inspections to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Diagnose faults and repair or replace defective parts as necessary.
- Ensure all repairs are conducted safely and efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Logistical Support:
- Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and equipment as needed.
- Monitor fuel consumption and maintain fueling records.
- Track maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing of vehicles and equipment.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies and procure replacements as required.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all vehicles and equipment meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Prepare reports on equipment status, maintenance logs, and expenses.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training to staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Offer technical support and guidance to operators and other personnel.
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs.
- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician, preferably in fleet management or equipment maintenance.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems and proficiency in diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to read and interpret documents like safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
