Job Title: Rotary Wing Flight Test Instructor

KBR's Defense Systems Engineering Division is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotary Wing Flight Test Instructor to support tasking at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) for the United States Naval Test Pilot School (USNTPS) in Patuxent River, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide flight test instruction in the Rotary Wing department, working within the USNTPS environment composed of government, military, contractor, and industry personnel.
  • Support the design, risk management, execution, and communication of aircraft and systems testing for combat.
  • Develop and deliver technical reports and presentations to educate aviators and engineers.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of related experience, including at least two (2) years of test-oriented experience.
  • Previous qualification as a Military Aviator.
  • Flight Hours: A minimum of 1500 flight hours in helicopters is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in complex, modern, integrated aircraft systems.
  • At least one (1) year of instructor pilot experience.
  • A master's degree.
