St. David's North Austin Medical Center, a renowned multi-specialty hospital in Texas with over 360 beds, is seeking an exceptional Clinical Nurse Coordinator for its Cardiac Telemetry unit.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions within the unit during their designated shift. In collaboration with the management team, they will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other management members.
  • Cultivate an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service by working with subject matter experts and other managers.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Nursing.
