Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' conditions and determine treatment courses.
  • Provide morning triage for students unable to participate in training due to medical reasons.
  • Monitor students during high-risk training events and provide medical coverage.
  • Respond to emergencies, stabilize patients, and activate the Emergency Medical System.
  • Summarize injuries and emergency care rendered to receiving EMS responders.
  • Inventory, replace, and clean medical supplies and equipment.
  • Interface with biotechnology monitoring systems and physiologic thresholds.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure proper care and health monitoring of students.
  • Coordinate with medical directors and supervisors for proper medical oversight.
  • Keep accurate records of injuries, treatment, and medical releases.
Requirements:
  • Paramedic/EMT Certification
  • Certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) or State License at the EMT-P level or higher
  • 3 years of experience as a Paramedic within the last 5 years
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • US Citizen
  • NACI background check
