Pediatric Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate pediatric psychologist to join our team at VCU Health. As a member of our Comprehensive Autonomic Center, you will play a critical role in providing clinical services, research, and program development for children with autonomic disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient and inpatient intervention services to patients with autonomic disorders, including postural tachycardia syndrome (POTS), chronic fatigue syndrome, and functional abdominal pain.
- Work closely with adult psychologists in the adult portions of the CAC and cross-cover pediatric GI psychological services.
- Develop and lead clinical programs, including integration of psychological services into new autonomic interdisciplinary clinics.
- Collaborate on research brain imaging programs and community education initiatives focused on pediatric pain and chronic overlapping pain conditions.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
- Virginia state licensure or license-eligibility.
- Board eligibility optional.
- Experience with psychological assessment, family services, and behavioral therapies.
