Job Summary
The Resident Care Associate plays a vital role in providing exceptional care and services to our residents in a safe and comfortable environment. This position requires a high degree of quality care and services, adhering to federal, state, and local standards and regulations, as well as Phoenix policies.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the development and update of Personalized Service Plans, attending service plan review meetings with families as requested.
Maintain the hydration schedule for residents during the shift.
Complete resident meal attendance sheets and provide room service or account for residents who have not dined in the dining room.
Know and comply with all resident rights.
Initiate, assign, and assist with activities as appropriate.
Check assigned residents daily for cleanliness, appropriate clothing, and any continence issues, and change in condition.
Use proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
Check assigned resident rooms daily for general cleanliness and neatness, and take appropriate action, ensuring high-risk rooms are double-checked.
Assist with conducting laundry, common areas, including bathrooms, checks for cleanliness, and any exposed hazardous chemicals, and take appropriate action.
Complete all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for assigned residents according to the resident's Personalized Service Plan (PSP).
Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly and immediately, taking appropriate action, including resetting call bells.
Requirements
High school education preferred and may be required by the state.
Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age to perform the personal care aspects of the RCA position.
Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred.
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours, available to our customers at peak service delivery days and times.
Salary
$15.00/hr
