Job Title: Aquatic Fitness Coach

We are looking for an experienced aquatic fitness coach to teach group water aerobics and help children and adults develop proper swimming techniques and skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience and enthusiasm, motivating students to achieve their swimming goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting water aerobics classes of up to 20 participants
  • Teaching swimming techniques, strokes, and water safety rules to students with varying abilities
  • Assisting more experienced swimmers to enhance their abilities
  • Assessing student progress and adjusting teaching programs accordingly
  • Monitoring students to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Implementing ground rules for each swim session
  • Planning swimming lessons tailored to students' abilities and progressive development
  • Identifying incorrect techniques and correcting students accordingly

Requirements:

  • General Liability Insurance
  • Certification as a Swim Instructor or Lifeguard
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Proven experience working as a Swim Instructor or Lifeguard
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Sound knowledge of proper swimming techniques and water safety rules
  • Strong swimming abilities
  • Excellent Conflict Resolution Skills
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Passionate and Enthusiastic

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
