Job Title: MRI Faculty

Smith Chason College is seeking a highly qualified MRI Faculty to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and guidance to students in the medical imaging field.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in MRI technology and a passion for teaching. They will be able to develop and update syllabi for courses, deliver lectures, and provide practical demonstrations on ergonomics, anatomy, and scanning techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update syllabi for courses, ensuring alignment with program objectives and industry standards.
  • Deliver lectures, optimize instructional resources, and provide practical demonstrations on ergonomics, anatomy, and scanning techniques.
  • Assist students with protocols and procedures, offering constructive feedback and support.
  • Provide timely feedback on academic progress, maintain accurate records, and update the Program Director on student performance.
  • Adhere to institutional policies, participate in faculty meetings and development programs, and uphold ethical standards.
  • Foster an inclusive, diverse learning environment and accommodate students' personal and educational needs.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by the Campus Director, Director of Education, and Program Director.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of four years of related practical work experience in the subject area(s) taught, with a related degree at least at the same level as the course being taught.
  • Current industry certification(s) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of professional career paths and employer demands in the field(s) of instruction.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer applications, internet research, database management, and analytical skills.
  • Preferred experience with Canvas or similar Learning Management Systems (LMS) for instruction, including assignments, quizzes, discussion boards, gradebook, and modules.
  • Highly desirable experience in online, hybrid, remote, or blended teaching environments.
