Chemical Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Analyst to join our team at Clean Harbors, the leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.

This is a traditional white lab coat position that offers no travel and a flexible schedule. As a Chemical Analyst, you will be responsible for sample preparation, analysis of samples to determine their chemical and physical properties, and ensuring Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.

• Maintain a safe working environment that is in compliance with all applicable OSHA regulations as well as all applicable company Health and Safety and Compliance protocols.
• Perform analysis of samples following prescribed procedures, with the ability to solve minor problems.
• Calibrate and utilize instrumentation.
• Maintenance of equipment suggests solutions to problems.
• Completes all paperwork associated with the analyses in a neat and timely fashion.
• Ensures that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines.

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or physical science is preferred.
