Job Summary:

As a Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by utilizing non-invasive cardiovascular imaging procedures to produce images of the heart. This position requires specialized knowledge and skills in support of the provision of diagnostic and/or therapeutic services to a specified patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

Use non-invasive procedures to examine heart valves, chambers, and blood vessels to produce images known as echocardiograms (ECGs).
Perform imaging and non-imaging cardiovascular evaluations which may include exercise tolerance tests, Holter monitoring, event recorders, electrocardiograms, stress tests, and transesophageal echocardiography.
Obtain patient history, explain procedures to patient, address patients' concerns, and follow established pre-screening policy and procedure.

Requirements:

Completion of a two-year hospital or college program in Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Imaging approved by the American Medical Association upon hire.
Registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) – Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) upon hire.
Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or RQI upon hire.
