Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified After School Caregiver to join our team at Lindbergh Schools. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children, implementing activities, and fostering social development.

Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming climate that promotes respect and caring relationships among children, parents, families, colleagues, and the community.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and orderly environment, adhering to safety procedures and protocols.
  • Report any broken equipment or unsafe situations promptly to ensure the well-being of children.
  • Model positive behavior and utilize strategies to guide children's social development, promoting their emotional and psychological growth.
  • Greet families each day, establishing a sense of belonging and connection.
  • Familiarize yourself with child information in the Sub File to provide individualized support and care.
  • Implement lesson plans, monitoring all aspects of the program site to ensure children's safety and well-being.
  • Participate in mandatory trainings and meetings to stay updated on best practices and policies.
  • Be available to work on Early Release Days and School's Out Days, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including pushing or lifting up to 50 lbs, and perform duties both indoors and outdoors.

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Reliable transportation, ensuring timely arrival and departure from work.
