Salary
The salary range for this position is $185,000-$225,000 USD per year, competitive with industry standards and commensurate with experience. As a full-time exempt employee, you'll also enjoy a comprehensive compensation package, including company equity, 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid parental leave, and a range of other benefits.
Job Description
We're looking for a skilled Staff UX Engineer to design and develop intuitive software user experiences for our astronauts, mission operators, and engineers. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for creating cohesive front-end software solutions that meet the needs of our users. Your expertise in user interface hierarchy, user experience design, and front-end development will be essential in bringing our mission to life.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, human-centered design, or a related field, or 7+ years of professional experience as an engineer. You should also have 5+ years of experience in UX/UI development, 3+ years of experience with a modern frontend framework (such as React), and 1+ year of experience with UI/UX design software (such as Figma). Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment and make independent judgments with limited information.
