Key Responsibilities:- Comprehensive Patient Care: Deliver high-quality care to neurosurgical patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, primarily in inpatient settings such as the ICU, ward, and emergency department.
- Collaborative Care: Assist in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care in collaboration with neurosurgeons, trauma surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
- Advanced Procedures: Perform advanced procedures as credentialed, including lumbar punctures, ventriculostomies, ICP monitoring, and wound management.
- Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Participate actively in daily rounds, patient consultations, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Quality Improvement: Contribute to the program's quality improvement initiatives and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Interest in Neurology: Open to new graduates, with a strong interest in neurology.
