Institutional Relationship and Partnership Specialist

The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and location.
At Ascensus, we are seeking a highly skilled Institutional Relationship and Partnership Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for engaging with employers throughout the state in order to educate them on the Illinois Secure Choice (SSRP) Program and help them register for and facilitate the program.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently from home. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in financial services, sales, marketing, or client services, and a proven track record of building strong relationships with clients and partners.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Conducting regional information sessions for employers and employees
- Partnering with employer groups, trade associations, and non-profits to provide information and training
- Helping employers understand how to register and facilitate the program
- Identifying and developing employer and employee success stories for use in program promotion
- Becoming a state-sponsored retirement program (SSRP) industry expert
The successful candidate will also be required to attend industry conferences, lead and assist in project work, and track and report on events and activities. A FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 licenses is also required.
