Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Description

The Strategic Payroll and Benefits Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance for our diverse manufacturing workforce. This includes overseeing payroll processing, collaborating with HR and finance teams, resolving discrepancies, and utilizing ADP and Workday systems efficiently.

In addition to payroll, this role will also administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and disability. The incumbent will coordinate open enrollment processes, communicate benefit changes to employees, and collaborate with benefits providers to ensure seamless administration.

The Strategic Payroll and Benefits Manager must stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local regulations related to payroll and benefits. They will ensure compliance with tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and other relevant statutes through periodic audits.

This role requires close collaboration with HR and other departments to integrate and streamline payroll and benefits processes. The incumbent will work with external vendors and consultants to optimize benefits offerings and generate reports to provide insights to management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 7+ years overseeing/managing payroll and benefits, preferably in manufacturing
  • 10+ years minimum experience with payroll
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, benefits administration, and compliance requirements
  • 3+ years experience in HRIS (Workday, ADP) and MS Office applications (especially Excel)
