Nesco Resource is seeking a seasoned IT asset lifecycle manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring timely upgrades and replacements according to the end-of-life schedules.

This role involves leading the identification, assessment, and remediation of vulnerabilities within the IT infrastructure to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with security standards.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, for lifecycle management and vulnerability remediation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lifecycle Management: Ensure the entire lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to disposal, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Vulnerability Remediation: Lead the identification, assessment, and remediation of vulnerabilities within the IT infrastructure.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and execute detailed project plans for lifecycle management and vulnerability remediation initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all IT assets and remediation activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with end-of-life assets and vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation strategies.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT asset lifecycle management and vulnerability remediation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a long-term contract with 3 days onsite in Midtown, Manhattan and 2 days remote. The company offers competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
