Healthcare Professional for Senior Living Community

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at a Senior Living Community in Richland County, ND. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for personal growth and development.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, diagnose and establish patient treatment plans, and monitor changes in patient symptoms or behavior. They will also communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care, educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention, and facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
Responsibilities- Administer nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
- Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans, taking into account the resident's medical history, current condition, and lifestyle.
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior, making recommendations for adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care, ensuring that all relevant information is shared.
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention, promoting healthy lifestyles and reducing the risk of complications.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records, documenting all interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members, offering reassurance and guidance during challenging times.
- Previous experience in nursing, with long-term care experience preferred.
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment, ensuring efficient use of technology to enhance patient care.
- Ability to build rapport with patients, establishing trust and understanding.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, enabling the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- Must have a current North Dakota RN license, demonstrating commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
This position is based at a Senior Living Community in Rockland County, ND.
