We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team in Danville, Pennsylvania. This role offers a unique opportunity to work as a regional float position, providing diagnostic imaging services to patients across various locations within the region.

Job Summary:

This position provides a competitive salary, including a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating equipment, and maintaining related records. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Perform standardized radiological radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations utilizing proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.">
  • Operate all equipment within the modality with knowledge and proficiency.">
  • Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective equipment and devices.">
  • Analyze patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology in performing examinations.">
  • Assist physicians with various procedures.">
  • Report equipment malfunctions and the need for adjustments or repairs.">
  • Maintain related records and notations.">
  • Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures as required.">
  • Participate in the educational training of students.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.">
  • Certified Radiology Technologist within 24 months - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).">
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.">
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.">
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.">
