Facilities Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee the daily operations of our facilities. This is a full-time position that requires a proactive leader who can manage and motivate a team, make informed decisions, and take calculated risks.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in facilities management, with experience in leading maintenance teams, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff to ensure effective operation of all facilities-related systems
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
  • Manage facility budgets, including procurement, inventory control, and expense tracking
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize capital improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines, Didlake policies, and local jurisdiction regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., facilities management, engineering, construction management)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Experience with project management software, budgeting tools, and maintenance management systems
