Job Summary

The Business Operations Specialist will play a key role in maintaining vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level. This position requires strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization.
  • Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
  • Review contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements.
  • Set up project and work breakdown structures.
  • Establish and document business processes.
  • Track project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls, and costs against budgets.
  • Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
  • The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while exercising excellent judgment.
  • Must have advanced MS Excel knowledge and skills, including the use of pivot tables and advanced formulas.
  • Experience using advanced supply chain management, enterprise planning, or financial planning systems (e.g. SAP) is preferred.

The pay rate range for this position is competitive and may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location, and end client requirements.
