Job DescriptionThis position will involve floating to various areas within the hospital, including Med-surg/peds, Ortho, Hospice/Oncology, and Acute Rehab. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work under the direction of the Registered Nurse and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Recognize and report abnormal assessment data
- Collaborate with RN to create an appropriate plan of care
- Carry out the plan of care effectively
- Modify the plan of care as needed
- Communicate patient condition to the RN
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
- Use resources such as the primary RN, Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, Directors, Administrative Coordinator, Pharmacy, etc.
- Demonstrate good time management
- Licensure in the State of Indiana as a Licensed Practical Nurse is required
- 36 hours weekly, Day shift (7:00a-7:00p)
