About the Position:We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in South Bend, IN. As an SLP, you will work with K-5th grade students to improve their communication skills and educational experience.
This role involves assessing and diagnosing speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students. You will develop and implement individualized education programs tailored to each student's needs and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-5th grade students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide direct therapy and interventions in individual or group settings.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Indiana SLP license or the ability to obtain one.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
