Job Overview

Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

At the University of New Mexico Hospitals, we are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Support Professional to join our Clinical Nursing Support team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support services in a fast-paced environment
  • Collect patient data, obtain medical history, and perform treatment procedures as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate appointments and verify medical coverage
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including basic cashiering duties

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; MA accreditation program graduate or 2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification required within 30 days; CMA, RMA, AMT, AAMA, NRCMA, CCMA, or similar certification desired
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
