The Clinical Decision RN provides professional general nursing care to patients using the nursing process, collaborating with other members of the healthcare delivery team to ensure quality healthcare.
Responsibilities- Provide safe nursing care and a safe environment for patients and families.
- Transcribe and implement physician orders and document all patient-related information.
- Administer medication and IV fluids accurately and safely within nursing guidelines.
- Update/revise plan of care as needed based on continued assessment of the patient, providing care for patient discharge to the nursing unit, including transport.
- Effectively respond and perform in emergency situations, using critical thinking skills to perceive potential problem situations and intervene to offset adverse effects.
- A graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous nursing experience is required.
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
