LPN Medical Surgical Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic medical-surgical team at Grace Hospital, a teaching hospital committed to providing outstanding, holistic care to our patients.
About the RoleIn this critical role, you will be integral in providing top-tier nursing care, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery, and ensuring the highest level of patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information
- Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to quality enhancements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current LPN license to practice in the state of North Carolina
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion
