Job Summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Director of Donor and Corporate Programs. This key role will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with donors and corporate partners to increase philanthropic support for the Wexner Center for the Arts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for donor stewardship, including acknowledgements, recognition, benefits programs, and events.
  • Manage departmental budget and workflow, ensuring effective use of resources and meeting fundraising goals.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Advancement to develop and implement fundraising and stewardship strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate donors, securing annual gifts between $1,500-$25,000.
  • Develop and execute travel programs to leverage interest, engagement, and philanthropic dollars.
  • Manage membership and corporate sponsorship programs to maintain, sustain, and grow engagement and philanthropic dollars.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Wex's programs, strategic plan, and fundraising priorities.
  • Work closely with the Head of Advancement, Wex staff, and development colleagues in OSU Advancement to achieve fundraising goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • At least four years of professional fundraising experience or professional transferable experience.
  • At least one year of professional experience working with a CRM.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one year of professional experience in higher education.
  • At least one year of experience leading and managing teams.
  • Experience working in other advancement departments such as donor relations and stewardship, donor communications, and/or alumni relations.
  • Demonstrated interest in contemporary arts.
