Our facility is equipped to provide comprehensive care:
- We feature 25 individual patient rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center, a Level III stroke center, surgical facilities, advanced diagnostic services, swing bed care, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, on-site physician clinics, and a sleep laboratory.

- Delivering both technical and clinical respiratory care services across the facility.
- Staying informed about the latest advancements in respiratory therapy.
- Assessing and recommending appropriate respiratory services.
- Maintaining a high level of clinical skills to effectively perform assigned responsibilities.
- Exhibiting expertise in various respiratory care modalities, including aerosolized medication delivery, oxygen therapy setup and maintenance, postural drainage, pulse oximetry, and bedside pulmonary function testing. Phlebotomy skills are preferred but can be acquired on the job.
- Upholding exemplary standards of professionalism.
- Participating in relevant in-service training and educational opportunities, both departmental and hospital-wide.
- Consistently promoting positive public relations.
- This role requires adherence to instructions, confidentiality, reliability, accuracy, punctuality, and the ability to engage with colleagues, patients, and visitors in a professional manner.
Essential Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent experience.
- Valid Texas Respiratory Care License.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
- Membership in the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).
- National Specialty Certification.
