Job Summary

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Texas ENT Specialists, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients with complex voice, swallowing, and upper airway disorders. Your expertise will be invaluable in evaluating and treating patients, collaborating with laryngologists and head and neck oncologic surgeons, and educating patients, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with laryngeal, phonatory, swallowing, and upper airway disorders, utilizing comprehensive assessments and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, including pre-treatment evaluation and counseling, post-treatment care, and advocacy for patients.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic programs to meet individual patient goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and emerging technologies.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers, promoting empowerment and self-advocacy.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Valid license to practice as an SLP in the State of Texas.
  • Experience in the independent evaluation and treatment of laryngeal, phonatory, swallowing, and upper airway disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems, such as eClinicalWorks.
  • Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.
