Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Opportunity

As a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing top-quality medical care to our nation's veterans.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is highly competitive, with a range of $325,000 to $400,000 per year. In addition to a generous salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Predictable work schedules and a focus on quality rather than volume
- Annual performance bonus up to an additional $15K per year
- Health, Dental & Vision Insurance
- Malpractice: Liability protection with tail coverage provided
- 26 days paid vacation; 13 days paid sick time per year w/unlimited carry over; 11 paid holidays
- Traditional Federal Retirement Plan and separate 401K with partial agency match by agency
- Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement for CME's (must be full-time with board certification)
- This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), if approved
As a Cardiac Electrophysiologist at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, you will be responsible for performing inpatient or outpatient cardiovascular consultation services. You will also support general cardiology service and review physical requirements, conducting physical examinations of various categories of military and civilian personnel. This is a full-time, board-certified/board eligible position that requires a U.S. citizen who has a full and unrestricted license from any U.S. state.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- American Board of Internal Medicine Certification in Cardiac Electrophysiology preferred. We will also consider Cardiac Electrophysiology board eligible candidates.
- Academic appointment at LSU School of Medicine is available but not required. (Board certification required if interested in academic appointment.)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
